The 2017 SSPP Meeting
Savannah, Georgia

The SSPP will meet at the Hilton Savannah DeSoto in Savannah, GA, from March 22 through March 24, 2017. The convention room rate is $179.00 (3/21-3/23) and $215.00 (3/24), plus 13% tax and a $1 per night occupancy fee. Valet parking is $25.

Program sessions will begin in the morning on Wednesday, March 22 and will end Friday afternoon or evening, March 24.

The hotel is on East Liberty Street in historic Savannah, with River Street, the City Market, and Savannah’s squares all within easy walking distance.

The deadline for making room reservations is February 21, 2017. You can make reservations by visiting this site. The Group/Convention Code is: SFP. You can also call a toll free number (1-877-280-0751) to make reservations.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Friday (3/24) is no longer available at the group rate. When attendees visit the linked page above to book their rooms it is critical that they do not input their departure date as Saturday 3/25, as this will bump them off of the conference-rate even for 3/21, 3/22, and 3/23.

If you call to make a reservation, you should state that you will be attending the meeting of the Southern Society for Philosophy and Psychology, and you should request the convention rate. Please make your reservations early because the Society is obligated to occupy a block of guest rooms in order to avoid charges to the Society. The Tuesday night room block often is oversubscribed, but if the room block is filled early, we may be able to obtain an increase in the room block.

Many major airlines serve the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. Taxi service from the airport is currently $30.
